Nekadašnja svetska i olimpijska šampionka u skoku motkom Jelena Isinbajeva posla je poruku podrške svim sportistima posle otkazivanja Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju za sledeću godinu zbog virusa korona.

“Dragi sportisti, tačno znam kako se osećate zbog vesti o odlaganju Igara. Beskrajno dugo i bolno izgleda čeakti celu godinu do nastup na OI, ali pokušajmo da nađemo pozitivnu stranu cele ove priče. Vi i vaši treneri imaćete više vremena za pripreme za ono što vas očekuje. Ono što je takođe bitno, Olimpijske igre nisu otkazane. Odluka o odlaganju doneta je pre svega u interesu sportista. Zato moramo da budemo strpljivi, pazite na svoje zdravlje i nemojte da paničite”, napisala je Isinbajeva na svom nalogu na Instagramu.

Today it was officially announced that the Olympic games in Tokyo 2020 were postponed to the next year. ⠀ The official date of the OG has not yet been determined, and the process of discussing dates with international federations and National Olympic Committees is still pending. What is known is that the games should take place before the summer of 2021. ⠀ Dear athletes, I know exactly how you feel about this news. It seems infinitely long and even painful to wait a whole year before performing at the Olympics, but let's try to extract positive moments from this difficult situation. ⠀ ✅First, there is clarity! ⠀ ✅Secondly, you and your coaches have time to review your training and work out a new training plan! ⠀ ✅Well, and third, the games will definitely be, no one has canceled them, it's only a matter of time! ⠀ It is important to understand that athletes all over the world today are in equal conditions, in equally difficult conditions, and no one has any advantages over anyone. ⠀ The decision to postpone the OG was made primarily in the interests of the athletes. ⠀ So dear athletes, spectators who have already bought tickets to the OG, we are patient, we monitor our health, we observe a social distance, we follow the recommendations of the WHO and we do not panic❗️
