On je na mitingu u Glazgovu preskočio 6,18 metara, što je za centimetar više od visine koju je savladao prethodne nedelje u Poljskoj.
Diplantis je aktuelni evropski prvak na otvorenom iz Berlina 2018. te srebrni sa prošlogodišnjeg svetskog prvenstva takođe na otvorenom u Dohi.
Najbolji rezultat na otvorenom mu je 6, 05 m iz Berlina 2018.
