Ovogodišnje cvetanje, najbolje od 2016. godine, omogućile su stabilne padavine i tople temperature u poslednjih šest meseci, prenosi AP. Zabeležena je i pojava gusenica sfingi.

Ekolozi ističu da “supercvetanje” ruši predrasudu da pustinje nemaju život i navode da su biljke i životinje u Dolini razvile otpornost da opstanu u ekstremnim uslovima. Posetioce upozoravaju da se drže staza, ne gaze biljke i ne beru cvetove.
